WEBSITE SAFETY CHECKER

Check whether a website deserves your trust.

Start with a private address-only check in this browser. Continue to a HIP lookup when you want the public evidence that is currently available. Neither step can guarantee that a website is safe.

CHECK A WEBSITE SAFELY

How HIP checks a website

HTTPS and certificates

Transport evidence shows whether a connection is encrypted and a certificate is valid. It does not prove the operator is trustworthy.

DNS and identity

DNS posture, domain-control evidence and signed identity records help distinguish control from broader safety.

Reputation and lookalikes

Available reputation evidence and deceptive address patterns add context without treating domain age or one provider as proof.

Page behaviour

Supported scans can evaluate bounded phishing, redirect, form, script and download signals while preserving HIP's privacy boundary.

What a result can and cannot tell you

A HIP result explains the evidence it could use, what was unavailable, the result time and its limitations. A clean result can miss a new threat, and Limited Data means HIP does not have enough evidence for a strong conclusion.
